A New Way To Cele-brate!
Wednesday, February 15th, 2017
Happy Wednesday, Everyone!
There are so many fun ways to use the Cele-brate plate die from the Richard Garay Celebra’tions collection. Not only does the plate allow you to assemble some quick DIY Birthday cards– for those last-minute occasions— but here are two more ways you can use this die to add a little life to your next project!
Typically, after running the Celebrate plate through a die-cutting machine, you will end up with one large, detailed piece.
To create this card, we are just going to cut out just the ‘Celebrate’ piece by cutting the banner portion off the bottom of the cut cardstock. Next, pop it out on top of some whip-cream cardstock– splashed with a little Silver Shimmer Silk—to give your card a bit of added dimension.
Come back in and stamp the hot-air balloon directly on to some Odacious Orange cardstock and cut out the stamped image before adhering. Finish it off with a little bit of twine and “candy-dot” accessories for that final added touch.
Another way to create with the Cele-brate plate is by using the cut-out’s from the die itself. Those spell out the word perfectly for you to landscape across the card in a fun, decorative pattern. Use the brightly colored and super cute Chevron prints washi-tape for a bright and colorful background to really bring the card to life. Enhance the hot-air balloon stamp with some back embossing powder to add a little more dimension and tie the bottom of the balloon to complete your project.
