Season’s Greetings Everyone!

I hope you all are enjoying this super fun holiday season with lots of family, friends, and of course sugary treats! This week, I wanted to open up my home to you and share some of my holiday home décor as well as a few family traditions while we count down these last few days before Christmas!

This time of year is so much fun and I absolutely love decorating and creating a winter wonderland of sorts that both family and friends can enjoy. Of course we do not get any snow here in Arizona, but I still like to cozy up in my home (even if it is 70 degrees outside!). One of my favorite furniture pieces to decorate is the banquet table in our formal dining room. This is always the first thing people see upon walking into my home and has continued to be quite the conversation starter!

I love this banquet table because I can dress it up for any holiday. And because I love to entertain, it is perfect for storing all of my glassware and serving dishes. This year I dressed it up with yummy silver & gold winter elements.  I love to mix in home décor items among hand-crafted pieces to create that festive and diverse landscape. As you can see, I’ve used Heidi Swapp’s super cute Holiday Wall Words with some sparkling silver deer from Michaels and a few items sprinkled in from Pier One Imports.  Then I tied it all together with a fun holiday garland made using the Fringe Die from Fun Stampers Journey!

Oh… but wait– I spy with my little eye one more item I recently created with FSJ… can you find it?

Next to the banquet is our formal dining room table where I have placed a simple yet warm tablescape with candles, jars, and greenery. I love the soft glow that reflects from both the banquet and dining table to really bring that cozy home feeling to the room. We always have candles lit in every room this time of year. On the dinner plates, I’ve included some napkin tags using the Holiday Elements die from FSJ to add one final element to tie everything together. Get it… tie?… Because the tags are tied on to the napkins…?

Alright everyone- I hope this post left you feeling excited for the holiday and maybe a little inspired as well! Please share with me your own holiday dining room décor and table landscapes by uploading them to Facebook and tagging @TeamRichardGaray– I would love to see all of the fun and festive displays!

Keep warm & check back tomorrow for more RG holiday cheer!
