Today is National Children’s Craft Day!

What a perfect way to spend some time with the little one(s) while doing something you’ll both enjoy together…. crafting! Open their eyes to the wonderful world of creativity and encourage them to try something new without the involvement of electronics or television. Crafting has been known to boost self-esteem in children by giving them a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment- so let’s pull out those art supplies and get to work!

This week, Gabby helped her two youngest boys, Matthew and Andrew, create some fun St. Patrick’s Day cards for their teachers at school. Both boys enjoy getting their hands dirty in the craft room while making special treats or cards for their teachers and classmates.

Beck Beattie’s youngest boy also had a great time this weekend with mom in the craft room, helping her create a new scrapbook layout. They had so much fun picking out colors, embellishments, die cuts and the perfect photo to scrapbook! Beck loves spending time with her boys and getting creative. She feels it’s the absolute best to see them having fun with her various crafting products. Plus, spending that one-on-one time chatting together while creating is truly a special moment for them both. See more of Beck’s scrapbook projects on her blog, HERE.

Patricia Roebuck’s daughter, Emma, loves crafting with her mom at local crops and learning about all the fun tools and machines she can create with. While mom operates the tools, Emma enjoys designing the projects and watching them come to life! Most recently, the two created some festive dolls to celebrate Mardi Gras, using RG’s Media Venture collection. Emma had an absolute ball mixing and matching their outfits!
