This Is What You Should Make Mom For Mother’s Day…

Friday, May 5th, 2017

Well, Mother’s Day is already next week—so what are you planning to do for her? I mean there’s always the easy way out—you could go for the same ol,’ run-of-the-mill-type gifts; a bouquet of Spring flowers, gift cards to Starbucks, fancy perfume box sets, and everything else aligning those dedicated ‘seasonal’ shelves tucked in the back of department stores—or– you can switch it up!

Why not spend a little extra time this year and make Mom a handmade gift you know she’ll love? Here are a few project ideas, provided by the lovely ladies of RG’s Make Amazing Design Team, for you to spark up some inspiration and get creative! Remember— you only have 8 more days—So Let’s Get Craftin’!

Envelope Mini Album

As mentioned in Patricia’s blog post—It’s time to finally print out some of those photos stored up in your cell phone and put them to good use! Create a fun mini album to share some family pictures taken throughout the year. This album was designed using RG’s Mail Note Die from the Noteworthy Collection—creating a super cute added pocket to each page, perfect for storing special notes or mementos. See the blog post, HERE, for a short instructional video!

Scrapbook Pages

You can never go wrong with scrapbooking! Capture those fond memories together on decorated pages. Include little blurbs that talk about the day’s adventures or recall moments you all enjoyed together. This is truly a gift Mom will love and can enjoy for years on end. If you’re strapped for time- think about doing a more simpler layout like Tenia’s. Here she adds die-cut images from RG’s RG Days Collection to give a fun new spin on a cherished memory. Decorated Planner Pages

Has Mom been hit by the planner craze yet? If not- what a perfect time to start her off with all the essentials she needs to become part of this schedule-happy trend! You can even show her the ropes by beautifying a few of those calendar pages to get the ball rolling. Beck decorates her planner page using the gorgeous stamps and printed paper from RG’s Make Amazing Happen Collection. See what else she does with her small, leftover scraps, HERE, on her blog post!
