Mou here today, with a tutorial on how to create a watercolor look with die-cut flowers using papers, stamps, inks and dies from the Make Amazing Happen collection! So let’s get started…

I have compiled the step-by-step instructions to make it easy for you to follow along.
First, stamp the flowers and stems from the Make Amazing Stamp/ Die set on Whip Cream cardstock using True Color Fusion Inks Odacious Orange and Luscious Lime respectively.
Stamp ‘Make Amazing Happen’ sentiment also from Make Amazing Stamp/ Die on Oatmeal Cookie Cardstock using Berry Black True Color Fusion Ink.
Next, die-cut the stamped sentiment using the corresponding die from the Make Amazing Stamp/ Die set and Journey Platinum Die-Cutting Machine.
Trim Whip Cream cardstock to 8.5” x 5.5” and pink Make Amazing Happen Print paper to 4” x 5.25” and black brush stroke print paper to 2.5” x 5.5”.
Then, fold cardstock and use the Crease Tool to create the card base.
Adhere the print paper layers to the card.
Finally, attach the flowers, stems and sentiment to the card.
Add details to the flowers and stems with watercolor pencils and blend with water brush.
Create flower centers with Amazing Accent Dots.
Splatter some Gold Silk on the card and run the brush along the card edges for a gilded finish.
Here are a few of close-ups of my layout. I hope you enjoy!
This card is perfect for a myriad of occasions and events. The color combinations are appealing to the eye, while the sentiment offers a supportive message for when that friend or loved one could use a little motivation.
